Grape Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon 68%, Syrah 13%, Cabernet Franc 7%, Viognier/Sauvignon 12%
Terroir characteristics: clay/sandy loams, warm days tempered by cool winds from the Tyrrenean sea and surrounding hills creating a special micro-climate.
Vines: planting density 6900 vines/ha, unilateral cordon all vines are from France, 5 different Cabernet Sauvignon clones for best blend of aroma and complexity.
Vineyard regime: culture raisonne'e, careful canopy/leaf management throughout the year, aggressive green harvest to keep yields low for concentration of flavours.
Harvesting: by hand during September/October.
